Smaller than normal, more often than normal
The instinct after days of only juice is to eat like normal again straight away. A gentler approach is smaller portions spread across more sittings — five or six small servings across a day instead of three full meals.
What "small" actually means
Half a banana instead of a whole one. Three or four dates instead of a handful. A few spoonfuls of soup instead of a full bowl. It doesn't sound like much, but stacked across a day it adds up to a reasonable amount of food without asking the stomach to handle a large serving in one go.
Space them out
Two to three hours between servings gives the stomach time to catch up rather than stacking food on top of food. A midday handful of dates, then a light meal a couple of hours later, tends to sit better than trying to fit normal meal times back in on day one.
Let appetite set the pace, not the clock
Some days appetite comes back fast; other times it takes three or four days to feel normal again. Following actual hunger rather than a fixed meal schedule avoids both under-eating and the discomfort of over-eating too soon.
Back to normal without noticing
There's no clean line where recovering from a fast ends and ordinary eating begins — portions naturally grow back to their usual size over a few days once the stomach stops flagging it.
Dates make an easy small-portion food during this stretch since a handful is already a serving with nothing to measure out. Check what's available on the home page, read a bit about us on About Us, or reach out through Contact Us for larger orders.
