Stocking green tea in an office pantry
Offices that move away from the usual 3-in-1 sachets tend to land on green tea as the alternative — it's cheap to keep in bulk, doesn't need milk or creamer stocked alongside it, and one box of tea bags covers a small team for weeks. The catch is that plain tea bags in a pantry get ignored after the first week unless there's something to go with them.
Kurma solves that problem better than biscuits do. A jar of kurma next to the tea station doesn't need refrigeration, doesn't crumb everywhere, and lasts long enough that whoever restocks the pantry isn't doing it every few days. It also reads as a slightly more considered choice than a tin of assorted biscuits, which matters if the pantry doubles as something clients see.
Portioning for shared use
Individually reasonable portions work better than one open box that people dig into by hand. Small paper cups or a lidded jar with a scoop keeps things tidy and stretches a 1kg box further across a team of ten to fifteen. Safawi or Ajwa in smaller counts per refill tend to move faster than a large mixed box that sits half-finished.
